DAP Bagan Dinner for Wisma DAP Building Fund on 22.10.2010 sucessful open 600 tables. 22.10.2010 民主城行动党所主办梹民主行动党大厦基金晚宴中,成功开了六百桌宴席, 民联支持者有增无減,为朝向布城迈进一大步。 我希望两个补选选区的选民向峇眼民主城看斉,投民联一票,谢谢。 行動黨國會領袖林吉祥說,首相納吉在巫統大會上發表“粉身碎骨護布城”言論,已令他開始擔心,若來屆大選國陣失去了中央政權後,是否會和平交出政權。 “我將在國會向首相納吉提問,挑戰他是否在來屆大選里輸掉中央政權後,交出中央政權,遵從人民的意願。” 林吉祥在周五的晚宴上,如此向首相納吉喊話。 繼續為民主鬥爭 他說,首相在聯合國及歐盟會議上皆發表提倡中庸及反極端的言論,可是一回國在巫統大會上卻發表不惜任何代价都要維護布城政權如此極端的言論,令人大失所望。 林吉祥日前因操勞過度病倒。他說,雖然身體尚有點不舒服,不過為了峇眼“民主城”宴會,他最後還是決定出席與偉大民主鬥士們在一起,繼續為民主作出鬥爭。

DAP Bagan Parliamentary Liaison Committee will be holding its dinner in conjunction of the fund raising campaign for the Wisma DAP Penang Building Fund. The dinner will be held as follows on - Date: 22 October 2010 (Friday); Time: 7.30 pm; Venue: Pasar Sri Uda, Jalan Raja Uda, 12300 Butterworth. The dinner ticket is RM30.00 per-person. All well-wishers, supporters and party members are welcomed to support the building fund for our party. Thank you.

Senior Penangites support state govt's appreciation programme

Support for the Penang state government's appreciation for the elderly programme in the form of financial aid has been expressed by about seventy senior citizens in Seberang Prai. Urging chief minister Lim Guan Eng to continue with the programme, which recently received bad publicity from UMNO-owned press amid the party's allegation that the money was derived from gambling revenues, the group expressed dismay that state Opposition Leader Azhar Ibrahim had called Penangites to return the money as a sign of protest over its alleged non-halal origin. In the past few weeks, UMNO has been organising several made-for-media protests, gathering elderly individuals to announcing that they were returning the RM100 'compassionate allowance' received from the Penang state government. Permatang Pasir state representative Saleh Man, however, reminded Penangites not to be influenced by "evil lies" from the state opposition, saying it had "run out of political capital...
