Wisma DAP Penang

On 1st August 2010, DAP Secretary-General & Penang Chief Minister Sdr Lim Guan Eng has officially launched the Wisma DAP Penang fund raising campaign.

The party State Committee has decided to acquire a building to house our state headquarters and turn it into a nerve centre to grow the party and prepare for the next general election.

After a long drawn search for the new building, the State Committee is glad to announce that they had finally found a new suitable building,

Therefore, the party need to raise a total of RM3.2 million, being RM2.2 million for the purchase of the premises and RM1.0 million for the renovation work.

For your information, the party had raised RM1.0 million from a mammoth fund raising dinner in last November 2008 and the said amount has been paid as deposit. As such, we now have to raise the balance of RM2.2 million in order to settle the balance sum and to conduct some renovation work as well.

Let us encourage all our party members to take pride in this project and donate generously to achieve this target.

Members donating RM1000.00 and above would have their names inscribed in a Donors' Board while those donating RM100.00 and above would be acknowledged in a souvenir programme book.
