Kepala Batas Hospital: Nothing but a decoration 甲抛峇底医院: 空洞 ，只是装饰品而已
Kepala Batas Hospital which was situated in the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was initiated and build when Pak Lah took over the reign from former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Pak Lah's move after became prime minister is to upgrade his constituency to a possible city status in near future, where several major federal government agencies were relocated to this area to boast development and to increase the property value in that area.
To fully equip his constituency, a healthcare centre was top on his development list reasoning that the present Seberang Jaya Hospital could not accomodate the entire Seberang Perai population and the purpose of the Kepala Batas Hospital was to support the population in his area which had seen its population increasing since then.
However, after years goes by, Kepala Batas Hospital has been build and now operational with the most sophisticated health system installed, the hospital was still seen as merely a decoration only to uphold the township status for Kepala Batas for the sake of Pak Lah.
Most patients who had checked in or visited the Kepala Batas Hospital had complained that they were often turned away by the health staff there and referred to Seberang Jaya Hospital (which has been overloaded almost daily) instead, reasoning that shortage of medical officers (doctors), specialists and support staff to cater the health needs of the Kepala Batas population.
The situation had not improve ever since the hospital was officiated till today and the Kepala Batas Hospital still sits in that particular area today with insufficient health provision to its people there.
Well, the hospital is still there anyway merely as a window dressing to suit Pak Lah's constituency status as a developed township after he became prime minister. Wastage of public funds.

巴拉出任首相后，为了提高其选区的一个城市的地位。可能在不久的将来，那里的几个主要联邦政府机构被重新安置在这里发展，并增加物业的价值在这方面的工作。
要充分作好他的选区，医疗保健中心的顶端，其发展的理由是，目前诗布朗再也医院无法容纳整个威省的人口的增加。
然而，经过多年的推移，甲抛峇底医院已建立和现在的业务，与最先进的卫生系统的安装，医院仍然被视为只是一种装饰，只有坚持巴拉的乡镇地位的政策而已。
大部分病人谁曾在检查或参观甲抛峇底医院抱怨说，他们常常由卫生工作人员转介至诗布朗再也医院（几乎每天都超载）理由是短缺的医务人员（医生），专家和支援人员，以配合甲抛峇底人口健康的需要。
至今甲抛峇底情况并没有改善，以及提供良好的保健提供给此居民。
虽然，医院仍然存在，无论如何，仅仅作为一种门面工夫，以适应巴拉成为首相, 作为一个发展该选区的地位，真是浪费公款!
